NOS on 98 SL500 M119

I have a customer who put a NOS on his 2000 S500 M113 engine and has not blown it up. So I'm looking to put it on my 98 SL500 M119 just for once in a while stop light races. Has anyone done this and can it be done in a simple system injecting into the throttle body? I don't want to get complicated with fuel log and pressures.

If you add an oxidizer, you have to add fuel.

There's probably a system that fits a spacer plate under the throttle body and has an injector for fuel and another for the NO2.

Thanks, that makes sense I can make a spacer for a ready made kit, I have searched for kits but none for Mercedes so I guess something for a small block Chevy may be a start. I'm hoping for someone to chime in that's done it with info on any ECU issues . Since I got the car back together i's like new again and I have no desire to sell it so it would be fun to hot rod it a little.

Can you get with your customer and take a look at his solution?

I'm working on that his car is in Northern CA and we are in Orange County. He had it installed so doesn't really know all I'm asking hope to get the car down here. I found a YouTube on a C43 that looks pretty simple to do.

If you want your engine to last you want to get complicated. I have put 100's of bottles through various cars and it can be done safely. For example, my 01 740i has a direct port 200hp progressive wet shot of nitrous. Progressive shots inject a smaller shot first, say 100hp at 3200rpm then increase to 200hp at 6400. The engine being rotating twice as fast lessens the impact of your rotating assembly. A set up like mine will cost a couple grand but it's a reliable system and safe. I run a basic 75hp wet shot on my acura MDX(not joking), this system uses one nozzle in the intake to Inject the nitrous and fuel. A smaller shot doesnt require the conplexitites of my 200 shot. Nitrous can be safe but squeezing uninformed is often not. Haha have fun

Something like this would be a good start:

I recommend running a bottle heater and pressure gauge to get the most of each bottle. A remote bottle opener is mando if you wanna take part in random street race jackassery.
