The MBZ engine blocks are not constructed to survive when making super high horsepower. The racing AMG connecting rods are more than adequate for this service. Stick with OEM rods and don't play 'test developer' with unknown Chinese stuff.

i was thinking to port intake, exhaust, little bit of a throttle and add supercharger on 100hp or something like on the pictures.

Too bad you don't have a 99, otherwise the 113 5.5 would be available for upgrade and possibly the supercharged version.

If you had the pistons hit the valves (and bent them), then your rods "could" be bent as well.

Your best value would be to source a used (but good) 119 and pull your old broken engine out. The difference in cost and effort make this a no brainer.

Unless you want the experience of rebuilding a 119, but I'd still do that on the side while a nice used 119 was running under the hood.
