Install battery tender
I have a 1991 sl 500 and heard that you can’t install the battery tender in the trunk but must install in engine area, please help where in engine area or can I install on battery in trunk

I've not heard this before. I have one in stalled directly to the battery, I plug it in the late fall, close the trunk until spring and and its good to go. If there is a danger I'm missing, I'm open for suggestions.

That’s what I always did but someone said not a good idea maybe the r230 series
