SL/R129: Facelift R129 with 18x9.5/18x11 wide wheels?

Facelift R129 with 18x9.5/18x11 wide wheels?
Hey guys, new to the forum and want to know if our beloved SL's can run 18x9.5 +20 front, 18x11 +20 rear wheels???
The car isn't lowered yet (but will be on H&R's) and sits at stock height. Reason I'm asking is that I'm considering keeping this car and making it a project. Plans are to swap an M113K engine from and E55 in to it along with all supporting mods (yes..I know it will be expensive but don't care lol) in the near future hence the extra big wheels to put the power down. I'm still planning out this project and want to see what I can and cannot get away with.

Maybe with M113K is meant the M113E55ML kompressor engine.
