LOWER FRONT CONTROL ARMS SL600 vs SL500
I do know the difference between the SL600 lower arms compared to the SL500 arms However I wonder if I tried to put the SL600 calipers and rotors on my 98 SL500 if I really need to change the lower arm. I recently put new lower arms on the SL500 and don't want to change them Will the lower ball joint perch rub?

Probably not. The ones that had a chance of rubbing were the original cars.
Why not do the best thing for the same trouble and upgrade to 99+ brakes?

If you have a question on fit, just throw a 99+ rotor on and give it a spin.
The 99+ calipers bolt on just like the small ones and you will have to change the flex hose to match the newer caliper.
That's it.
Here's a set on eBay.

If you have Autozone stores, here's there calipers.
You just have to stiff them on the cores. Still a good deal.
