Hello! My throttle cable connectors, for lack or technical terms, broke and my cable came loose..... pedal to the floor. Triple A came and zip tied it so I could drive home. It worked!! Now time to fix it.
I live in Az so the heat, more than likely, is the culprit. I ordered the little square plastic piece but the other end was a rubber boot. Anyone know the name of this and if I can get just order that or do I need the whole cable?

If the whole cable is $50 or so, it might be time for a new cable assembly.

I havent even looked at that. The cable is fine but the "holders" are not.

The reason I wrote what I did is, my throttle cable has seen better days and I'm getting a new one tomorrow for my SL600.

129 300 27 20 for about $60.

Last one in the US coming from NJ. This is about the 5th recent item I've requested that was either last in the US or anywhere.

The cars are starting to get a little tougher to support from new old stock (NOS) and I've been proactive in getting some of the little things done while some items are available.

Word to the wise.

Well that is bad news. Ugggg. I love this car so much. Ok well on the search I go. Im going to try and replace it if I can find it. Thank you so much.
