Overhead console light switches
The various fixes on my '02 SL500 continue.
Tonight I noticed a behavior on my overhead light console. The passenger-side light illuminates fine when the driver-side switch is moved to the Full On position or when the doors are open. But the passenger-side reading light switch does not turn on the light when switched in that direction.
My presumption is bad contacts in the switch since obviously the bulb is fine, but I figured I'd double check unless there's something odd about the circuit. For example, does the seat have to be occupied for the reading light to turn on? Seatbelt buckled?
