I never heard of this company but I live in the United States. This exhaust looks European. I don't think you'll see much in the way of horsepower gains with this or any similar systems. If it's sound you're going after then just an aftermarket muffler will do the trick. I just installed a Sebring muffler on my SL500 and it sounds very nice....iower, deeper rumble without sounding too loud.
You could purchase a stainless steel muffler and have a muffler shop fabricate an exhaust system like the one you were looking into. I have to think it would be a lot cheaper than buying a complete system and having it shipped.

I don't have any sound clips but you can find a few sound clips on YouTube. Search for Mercedes R129 Remus Exhaust. The Sebring exhaust I have is built by a company whose owner was once a owner at Remus. The two exhausts are built the same sound exactly the same.

I can easily build a custom exhaust, just found this, thought maybe people would be interested. Looks quality.
Sebring makes high quality exhausts. I think they have been used in AMGs. Not certain but when I was searching for mine I remember something about that. Anyway, you can't go wrong with a Sebring. I'm looking into buying a 2007 or 2008 SL55 this summer and may consider installing Sebrings on both exhausts. They are that good. They don't sound like Mustangs or ricers, just deep and not loud.
Sebring/Remus is an Austrian company. They did the W124 AMG mufflers if i remember correctly. Iam pretty sure they are not affiliated with the US Sebring company
And the R129 mufflers were made by Eberspächer.
The displayed exhaust at the start has no CAT therefore not roadworthy in the EU.
Maybe made for africa or a cruise in the backyard ?

The Sebring muffler I have is made in Austria and distributed by the company I it bought from. If clarification is needed the rep is named James and he'll answer any questions asked. The owner of Sebring was once a partner at Remus but from what I understand he split off to do his own thing. That why this muffler sounds like the Remus I had one my first SL500. The muffler I have pictured is the one I installed and it sounds very nice. So nice in fact I drive with the radio off while the top on the car is down. It just sounds sweet!
