I have a 2000 sl500 that has been fairly trouble free. However, the other day my wife parked the car on a hill on a 45 degree angle. the alarm went off and the roll bar deployed. The soft top button is illuminated and the yellow roll bar light on the dash is illuminated. The roof, the windows, and the roll bar are all inoperative. I have checked all the fuses, and attempted the roll bar reset procedure. I also disconnected the battery overnight. If anyone has another method of resetting this system I would appreciate some help.

something is broken read this. the car may have been bump into, the control module need to see the car at 52 degrees angle and 3Gs of force acting on the car. then it pops the roll bars. live data from the module be a great help.
