Phone in armrest
Greetings
Bought a1998 SL500 74k miles end of May. Have been working on maintenance and working on rehabbing top cylinders through top hydraulics
today I found a phone in the armrest wired to the car and antenna. Has anyone been able to do anything with a phone in armrest?
Is it only now a bat phone for calling robin?

I removed mine years ago when I bought the car. These are, as I understand it, analog phones and not useable on today's networks. I am attaching a few PDFs I have in my files on the cellular system - these will help with removal of the components if that is the direction you want to go.
