RED & GREEN LIGHTS FLASHING ON REAR VIEW MIRROR
iI just bought a 1996 SL320. The key remotes only work mechanically.
I replaced key batteries & they still don't work but the red & green lights on the mirror are flashing together or back & forth when the button on the remote is pressed.
Any thoughts on getting them to work ?
Is there something to reset? The car battery was replaced about a year ago.Previous owner said the remote locking never worked in 5 years of ownership
but he didn't know to replace the batteries.
