Red face My new to me R129 w/ pano roof

First driving impressions: not the tightest car. Suspension feels a bit floaty, steering is heavy but feels good. 1st and 2nd gear seriously move. Cabin noise is on the louder end compared to my E66 and my Range Rover.

Car is a 2000 w/ 116k miles

Things to mend: overhead dome plastic is cracked, driver side sun visor need replaced, rear view mirror shakes when driving need to tighten it up, loose interior driver door handle(has me worried I hope it does not break), soundsystem needs a looking over either the sub is out or tweeters are out or equalizer has entirely wrong configuration. It sounds very tin like no depth or quality.

Over all a very clean and straight car. Engine bay is wildly clean as though it may never have been driven in the rain or even hit a puddle just has dust. Sitting on new Nitto sport tires. Has wind deflector, original tools etc.

First order of business is a good cleaning. Thinking a wash, clay, and wax.

Pics: Not the best pics but when she got delivered I had time for a quick drive and inspection, then had to leave out of town. I get back to her late tonight then work all week so I don't know when I'll have time to tinker. Probably NEXT Sunday from today. Cheers! Wife's 350Z for size comparison.

Clean it, change the fluids, drive it.

Awesome SL! I realize everyone has their favorite mother's milk for polish or wax but I have been successful on the show field with " Black Pearl # 4 polish". I had been showing muscle cars for about 30 years years and after several great products I tried the #4 polish on my black 67' Rebel with awesome results.

I decided to restore the 67' twice and painted it black the second time. It had a 290C.I. with 3 on the tree.
