Roll bar light on, Roof not working, knocking noise from seatbelt
Hello All,
Just purchased 1998 SL500 with 76K miles.
Now starting to get some troubles - after first 2K miles on it.
All started good, but 2 days back when I started the car with top down, I got Roll bar light on, Roll bar button with 2 red arrows, Roof light on, windows not working, knoking noise near my left ear.
Disconnected the battery for 10 minutes, left window came half down.
Sync the windows and closed the roof.
Next day in the morning - same lights, same issues. Disconnected the battery, opened the roof, worked till next start of the car.
Source of the noise - seatbelt system on the seat, knocking comes from the driver's seat seatbelt cover - this part (photo from internet): Seat belt's knocking noise source - photo from web
Any ideas?
Meanwhile ordered OBDII reader - will get it next week, will try to read codes, if any.
