Fuel lines/hoses
Hello, all. I have a 1991 500SL that has a rough time with hot starts. Most of the time, I have to let it sit for a minimum of 45 minutes for it to cool down and then it will start. One time upon cranking (during a cold start), I noticed a small puddle of fuel coming from the rear passenger side of the vehicle. I imagine its a fuel line/hose. I plan to replace the accumulator as that is normally the best starting point with any hot starting issue, however I will also be doing the fuel pumps, and filter since they are all next to each other. I also intend to do the fuel lines and hoses, but how many of them are there in total? Part numbers or links to these hoses and lines would be greatly appreciated! Thank you all.

fuel hoses
Last time (5/6 yrs) I did mine . I ran up to the part store and bought a length of hose ..pretty sure my filter was .32” so 8mm or 5/16” hose would be it. I bought the higher pressure hose. Just cut to fit and replace all lines from pump to filter etc. On a lift it is a very easy fix. I think the protective cover plate has 2 bolts to get to everything.
