Quality MB Service Near Wake Forest, NC
Hello MB World.
Hoping to get some first-hand recommendations for a quality shop to work on my 2001 SL500 in the Wake Forest/Raleigh area.
Earlier this year I moved from Atlanta, GA where I had a fantastic independent shop (Ed's MB Medics in Smyrna) to Wake Forest, NC. Ed and his son took great care of my SL500 for more than seven years (55,000 to 75,000 miles). In looking for a new team to service my car in the area, I have been turned down by two shops in Raleigh that were recommended. D&E Quality Service turned me down because of the age of the car as the shop is moving away from older units. The Foreign Service responded that they are not taking new customers. While it is understood that everyone has to run a business to be profitable, the responses were surprising.
There are many great examples of older Mercedes cruising the north side of Raleigh and am hoping a forum member can assist me with finding a new team to care for my R129.
