How many miles on your SL500 / SL55 / SL600 / SL65 ?
HI -- I thought it would be interesting to find out how much mileage you've got on your car now and when you got your car delivered to you.

SL500 2003 previous/ E350 2007 actually
I got my car last year on March with 4,000 miles on it as a startmart vehicle and now it has 24,010, so I'm driving 20,000 miles per year (an I enjoy all of this miles).

Haven't driven with the top down yet. I can't wait to log in some miles with the top down! I've never even rode in a convertable. I'm hoping for later this month/early next month.

Delivered May 04. Has just over 5,000 miles. I shipped it from Anchorage to Newport Beach for the winter. I'm driving it up highway 101 to Tacoma, WA for shipment back to Anchorage sometime in late April. I can't wait to get behind the wheel again!!!

2004 SL500, 2007 R350 Sport
New July 2004 and now covered 4010 miles. Most miles were done in the summer as the Jeep's best in the crappy weather we get. Usually only doing a few hundred a month over the winter. And come the good weather I walk to work!

Interested to know from those with higher mileages, what's beginning to show the car's use: interior, stone chips, wheel lacquer, dings. If we were to look at your car closely, what would betray it's use?

Leathermagic is great on phone support. You can send them entire parts on what you need to match, and they will send you back the part and paint. http://www.leathermagic.com
On wet sanding, I got me the Meguairs wetsand kit. I get my touchup paint from the dealer. The dealer told me to shake it like crazy and run warm water over it for a while. Apply the paint with a tooth pick and apply the clear coat. Just sand the the touch up area with 2000 grit sand paper. Make sure you soak the sand paper in water. I will try the http://www.langka.com later this month. Serveral folks tried it and love the results.
