No one has ordered their '06 cars yet. I asked at my local dealership the other day and they said it was too early for them to take an order for an '06. They said they would get back to me soon with a date when I could place an order. Until then, no one knows for sure what the differences are between an '05 and '06.

It is possible that your dealer can not order an SL because they don't have a slot but they are available to dealers that have slots and NETSTAR is capable of taking orders.
I personally know of 2006 SL's that already have P.O. numbers and are in B3 status which is the status where you can't change any options anymore and the car is weeks away from production.

Did they tell you anything about the 06 changes/options?
