?, for 06 they offered a lot smaller antenna for the Satelite radio. Does anyone know if the actual antenna can be purchased pre-painted or does this have to be aftermarket painted.

I am considering this small antenna again.

Why, is there something wrong with the one that people are puting under the front grille or does the new one not need a hole drilled through the trunk?

The new one does need to be drilled and is much smaller.

Black on black actually looked somewhat OK. Some of the other colors I have seen were off in match in my opinion.

Unless there is a huge difference in reception (the answer to which I do not know) I'd stick with the front grille.

I can't find anyone to do that installation that knows how to do it.

The Nashville dealer can do it. I had to drive to Nashville to get it installed.
