SL/R230: SL600 fog/Driving light Xenon Conversion Question
I am trying to convert the Halogen (9006) fog/driving light on my SL600 to Xenon/HID. Has anyone tried this? Will I need a D2R or a D2S bulbs?
thx!

The only thing that I am worry about is that if the system monitors the stock halogen bulbs for faults then it might not like to see a Xenon/HID ballast in it's place.
thx for the reply

The last place you want to go is a dealer to install this.. Call around to some local custom auto shops in your area, Try some ricer tuner shops as well. They will be able to tell where to find who you need. I know many people who have did this with all different model benz's. It is not that hard of a job.
I installed these fog/accents myself where there was no lights at all, I also updated and installed my tail and headlamps and side mirror lights. Here are pics.. Good luck
