The only comment I would make is to have a nice background like you have in #2. The background can take away or add to a shot so be mindful of that before you snap the shutter. The one with the lights on would be nice if it was just a tad later in the evening with less light so the effect is accentuated.

I kept the roof up on the trip home... have a real problem with sun damage, but that will not deter me in the AM or PM and during the winter months here.
If you get a chance to take I-70 from Denver to Las Vegas, it is a SL's dream ride. Sharp curves and steep grades... the scenery is nice too...:-)
BTW, I got 24.8 MPG on the trip home at an average speed of 74 MPH over the 760 miles. The GL550 going to Denver I got 18.3 MPG, average speed 72 MPH.

Plus, 24.8 MPG in the mountains is excellent! I'm happy to have a fuel sipper compared to my ML which is hard pressed to get much better than 14 MPG or so.
