Very nice images and a beautiful SL!
The only comment I would make is to have a nice background like you have in #2. The background can take away or add to a shot so be mindful of that before you snap the shutter. The one with the lights on would be nice if it was just a tad later in the evening with less light so the effect is accentuated.
Nice job!

Congratulations Jack! It's a beautiful machine, and oh so sharp in black! What a stunning drive you must have had through the mountains. Top down with the beautiful scenery must have been memorable.
Love the picts and really like the center hubs. They're a nice color tie in without going overboard.
Again congrats!

I kept the roof up on the trip home... have a real problem with sun damage, but that will not deter me in the AM or PM and during the winter months here.
If you get a chance to take I-70 from Denver to Las Vegas, it is a SL's dream ride. Sharp curves and steep grades... the scenery is nice too...:-)
BTW, I got 24.8 MPG on the trip home at an average speed of 74 MPH over the 760 miles. The GL550 going to Denver I got 18.3 MPG, average speed 72 MPH.

Plus, 24.8 MPG in the mountains is excellent! I'm happy to have a fuel sipper compared to my ML which is hard pressed to get much better than 14 MPG or so.

I know what you mean. I just got back from Colorado Springs yesterday and the scenery was spectacular! Sadly my SL stayed home. I had a Sebring Convertible rental and did enjoy driving it to the top of Pikes Peak, but it was such a POS compared to the SL.

I purchased it from Fletcher Jones Las Vegas. It was originally sold by them and they just took it back on a 36 month lease return. 17,500 miles, CPO with warranty till June 2010

Jack you might think about getting a clear bra installed. I did and it really protects the front and you can't see it on the car unless you get in just the right angle and it is still hard to see.

I have my cars serviced at FJ but I have only bought one car there in the 14 years I have lived in LV. They are pretty well known for MSRP deals and when there is trunk money at the end of the model year, they tend to keep some for themselves. Not a friendly dealer for new models but they do have pretty good service and based on your deal, they do deal on pre-owned.
