Update with some pictures of my SL55. Let me know what you think. The headlight modification was easy to do and definitely worth it. More pictures are available at the link below:

I'm sorry, I can't tell what has been modified with your headlights?

I color matched the headlight insert. The wheels are based on the amg multi-spoke wheel design. Thanks for looking...Originally Posted by B R

Hi guys! Something really crazy happening to my 2003 SL55 AMG today. Long story short, So I though the battery in the trunk was flat out because I have no electrical power anywhere in the car, no heat, windows, wipper, lights dashbrd no nothing, Thank went to get a battery replace, Still no power any where. Drove the car home, park the car took the key out walk away; Than turn around the car is still running with the keys in my hands. ????? Unbelievable, I could not stop the car for 3 hours. Try everything. Disconnect two batteries, fuses, plug up the air intake, plug exhaust, The car is still running. ???? At this time I was worry!!! Finally 1:00 AM I unplug all the fuse than it shut down. A whole bunch of weird shiiit happens in between. Still no power to the car, but car starts, I guess I really need to bring it to MB for service. "The SOS" also went on.
I need help guys, any tips or solution would be greatfull.
Thanks

Call an exorcist! I'd be freaked out too -- electrical problems can be a nightmare to figure out. Just from your description, I'd suspect a bad ground someplace, but I'm not sure that would explain how you removed the key and the car stayed running for three hours. The battery is really only needed to start the car, after that the alternator provides power to the electrical systems, so I can see how disconnecting the battery would not have caused the car to stut off.Originally Posted by MYSL55AMG

Went to see the tech guy this morning, Man the guy was playing a guessing game on me. So decided to pull the car out to another MB where a friend know a friend was working there specialize in the AMG car. He was guessing that there was mositure on the passenger floor, and aftermarket light bulb and a radar dectector was build in my car which he had no clue what that was, and could cause the problem. Guessing is no good on the AMG car.
Any idea guys so I can tell the new tech guy what maybe the problem.

The car has the Speedriven intercooler/intake system, exhaust, ECU/TCU programing, differential lock, Renntech transmission/clutch plate upgrades.

Sold my E55 AMG and got the car I've been obsessing over. A white SL500. I miss a lot of things about the E55 but I think I like the SL better for where I am in my life, I don't need a four door rocketship, I've moved on to roadster grand touring :P.
Here's a pic of when I bought it.

And my mod bug has already gone wild. Here it is with:
DIY Lowering, thanks to this board. I really like this mod
Link!
Chrome amber turn signal bulbs
Clear corners with chrome amber bulbs
Halogen "xenon" style fogs (I tried LED's but the SL really hates them so I just switched to good ole fashioned blue tinted halogen)
19" wheels on 35 front 30 rear
Single slat grill
Near future
Carbon fibre rear spoiler - not installed yet
Going in on Friday for quad pipe exhausts
