SL/R230 Sat Nav - Turn off Helga?

Sat Nav - Turn off Helga?

Once a journey has been set and calculated, I cannot work out how to keep the map going but turn the voice commands off - so I can listen to the music uninterrupted.

Is this possible please?

Mute

When you hear navigation instructions press the mute button and then you shouldn't hear it again. You can always press repeat if you miss the instruction and press mute as soon as you hear it.

Thanks for that - appreciate it. However, when I tried that it did mute the music.

You have to hit mute when the NAV voice is speaking. If you hit mute without the nav speaking it will mute the music. On the old models if you hit and hold mute while the nav is speaking it will mute for the whole trip and you will see a message on the screen that says that voice output has been muted. Try this and see if it works.
