From what I have read in European journals the AMG will get the 5.5 liter with a new higher speed supercharger and a larger throttle valve. There will also be a second generation ABC. Brakes will consist of larger composite discs and six-piston calipers. It seems that the RACETIMER (to record lap times) will be an option. The trunk will be easier to open and the luggage cover will be removable for greater capacity. There is no indication if the high-resolution display, now available for the S class, will be on the new SL. I doubt if the 8-inch display fits in the SL. We'll have to wait until the first week of March when the new SL will be shown at the Geneva Motor Show.
