Changing the language in voice activated Linguatronic option
I recently bought a Germany-sourced Sl500 with the Linguatronic voice activated option in, predictably, German. Anyone know how the language can be changed? An official dealer has informally priced the conversion at 600 euros (720 US) because they "need to change the Linguatronic module".

Thank you. The COMAND system is CD based, as my car is a 2003 model. Is fitting the new model something one can do oneself? I´m not a pro but have experience working on my cars.

Installation is fun. Have to remove all internal parcel shelf trims. Maybe that is the extra cost.
