Tansanitublau is Capri Blue in the US (both share code 359)
Jaspisblau is Orion Blue in the US (both share code 345)
Your first photo looks like Capri Blue, but the second could be Orion Blue.
As to the interior Alpakagrau (code #208) is probably ash in the US.
If not, it is Kieselbeige which goes by the code #205 in Europe which is probably stone in the US.
In any event, the interior is either ash or stone and the exterior is either Capri Blue or Orion Blue. As to the interior codes your dealer can match up by numbers which is which, but the Mercedes brochure in the US only gives the code numbers for the exterior paint colors.
I'm having silver and red which I know is a little lacking in imagination since so much of the promotional stuff is this color combination but since I already have a blue 129 SL with grey interior (which I'm keeping), I wanted a change.
A brochure I've seen advises berry red only with brilliant silver and black though I'd be interested in seeing it with the dark green metallic. Seeing but not buying....
They did the SLK in yellow and if you wanted to make a statement, that was it, but not exactly a stealth car. How about yellow with red interior? There's a color combo to transport you back to the 60's...
My 2003 Mercedes sl55 AMG is Jasper blue I was going for a colour change my self a Mercedes pearl white
Those V12biturbo signs are they factory? I don't have these
Time to pop the hood and check and see if there's a v12 LOL
But I think silver is the best, It ain't a Mercedes if isn't silver (GULLWING days), BUT best custom paint will hands down be the sl65 black series paint (gun metal grey or dark metallic grey)
