alignment needed after lowering?

Wanted to know if an alignment is needed when lowering the R230 about 1 inch?

Sorry if this question was asked before. Could not find the answer in my search.

I always have an alignment done after lowering a car (or a month later when changing-out any suspension components, too). It is just a good move.

Eh, just drive it. If you notice your car drifting, then get it aligned.

I didn't get my car aligned after lowering my old S and SL, even after getting the height adjusted multiple times. I didn't have tire cupping (I drive slow) and I noticed a slight drifting, but it was probably due to the crown in the road.

Seriously, why is lowering a car such a big deal? For the people that browse this forum, is this your first time modifying a car??! Your car is not going to wtfbbqlol-explode. Whenever you take a car to out-of-stock specifications, you increase the possibility of encountering problems. Or, you can encounter no problems. That's life!
