Probably not too many here behind the Orange Curtain, but around L.A. and its westside, probably quite a few. 
How would you even do it? Just slide some dental floss underneath the number?
Anyway, they would still have to put an AMG badge on the other side of the trunk.

I don't like the idea either, but for example, on my car, it may not have an AMG engine or suspension. But the car has an AMG body kit and rims. So technicially it is a Benz with AMG parts, so you could put AMG on it, but doesn't mean it is supercharged or fast, just means you like the AMG company and you want to tel peoplem that your car has an AMG kit. But I still wouldn't do it to my 500.

I am a bit confused on this one. My new SL500 ('04) has the AMG Sport Package on it, and has the ///AMG badge on the trunk. This is actually the third one I have seen like this. I asked the Benz dealer when I was purchasing it, if the decal was added, and he informed me that for a while, the SL's with the AMG Sport Package came with it already affixed to the car. Now I am debating if I should leave it, or remove it.

I got one to trump you all. I regularly see a black E320 with the 0 knocked off and an AMG badge tacked on so it reads:
E32 ///AMG
Forget the fact that there never was, is not now, and never will be an E32 AMG, but this dude doesn't even have the AMG sport bodykit! The only thing he has that even smells of AMG is fairly old AMG rims. Even funnier is that one of this guy's co-workers has a real E55 AMG.

C43 AMG, S55 AMG
i bought a 95 c280 and for $2500 converted it into a C43 AMG, what do u think or the upgrade?
hahahaa its always the people who have the REAL car that hate when other copy it cuas u spent ur money buying the S55, i just convert the s430 into s55 for like $10 worth of emblems lollllll everyone who has a smaller engine benz likes to make it look like the AMG version, but its the guys who actually wasted money buying it who feel bad, cause from afar the 2 S55 cars look the same to most people, only a FEW people who stare at Benzes ALLLLL day can tell that, "look that S55 is really an S430"

I posted this in the S550 forum, but here in Ladera Ranch a Yahoo took off the "S550" and put on "Maybach". Left the Mercedes logo on the trunk! That beat, IMO, the C240 AMG in Mission Viejo.
