Here's a little curiosity item:
I noticed on MBUSA's Build Your Own site, the SL550 Premium Package 1 details list includes "Xenon Headlamps." Since Xenon HID low beams are standard for this car, I suspect the Premium 1 package list should actually read as "Bi-Xenon"...for the high beams as well. However, we've all learned that M-B has a history of adding and deleting features often and without prior notice, so I wonder which is the current Premo Pkg 1 offering: Xenon or Bi-Xenon?

I'm confused...i thought all SL's came with bi-xenons...but more importantly are the high beams also xenon...ive never seen a car with high beam xenon lights least not like the blue colored as the low beams are

The Bi-Xenons are an option. It was coupled with the headlight washer feature...easy way to tell if a car has the bi-xenon option.
