Re-flash Protection
I have a Renntech stage I on my 04 SL600. What is the best way to make sure the dealer does not re-flash my ECU when the vechile is in for service? I have had my SA post a note on the computer but I am still concerned this could happen.

Probably no way to guarantee the tech won't do it for some reason. You should be able to tell if they do do it, probably most simply by checking for M mode.
From what Renntech told me in the past, the would reflash it for free, you pay the cost of shipping.

Ask that only a specific tech work on your car, get to meet him and give him a little something (spelled $100 ) to show your appreciation of his craft and how he will work on your car...this will go a long way toward many things
