Winter storage
I'll be storing the SL for the winter in a few months and was wondering what position the top should be in for storage. It will be enclosed in a "Car Capsule" (an inflatable plastic tent) and covered with a lightweight indoor cover.

I don't think it matters other than for protection of the inside. If it were me, I'd surely keep it closed.

dogma, I live in Connecticut and am storing it indoors in an inflateable PVC plastic tent. See www.carcapsule.com for details.

I have used the car capsule on my trailer queens for over 10 years they do work very well. If I might recommend place some desiccant in you interior, trunk and engine compartment. Even though you do get airflow from the car capsule it will be limited by the car cover and you could end up with a musty smell when you take it out for the Spring.
