I was just curious if most of us on here are using just a Performance filter or a system and how they liked it? I was thinking of dropping in a K&N Air Filter but was told that it is bad for our cars since it doesnt keep as much particals from going through it like the stock filters. Some shops told me because of how sensitive our Air Mass Meter is that when you put something in that breathes better it isnt as protective so what that means is that more dust and particals are going through the system leaving the Air Mass sensor more prone to failure. Has anyone heard this before? I was told the best thing to do is leave the stock ones in and believe it or not it breathes just as good if not better than the K&N and other performance filters.
