04 sl 500
Selling my 04bmw 530I with sport package. Have a deal on an 04 sl500 firemist red with 33k miles on it. It is CPO and the dealer is putting on brand new amg wheels and tires along with new front rotors and pads. Getting for 55.5K. Do you think that is a good deal? Also can bluetooth phones be installed on the 04 model? Car seems super solid and fast,nice stone leather interior. Am I missing anything on this. Plan to buy it tuesday. Is service included with the 04, still has balance of factory warranty, plus the CPO warranty

I'm not sure what the resale prices are right now - they have come down a little recently because of the new SL550. That price sounds about right to me, but I think your best bet is to either call around or check the individual MB dealers' web sites to see what they are selling for.
AFAIK, there is no BlueTooth capability on the '04 models. I know mine doesn't have it.
'04 was the last model year that MB offered free service, but you should check with the dealer for more detail on this. I think there are limitations to it.

Price is ~half what I paid new so looks good to me. 04s were last with free service . I advise negotiating a 100K service contract, I have had several issues and I baby mine. No blue tooth that I know of as well. 04s last model that have memory on center mirror if that is any consequence.

thanks for the info guys, just picked up my 04 firemist red sl with stone leather interior and brand new wheels and tires. I must it admit I like it more than my bmw, and I thought that was an awesome car. The car just drives awesome silky smooth, with tons of power and nice solid build structure. Now just have to sell the bmw.
