i already have 295 bfg drag radial tires

the problem is...i have 20'' carlsons on my sl600

what is the cheapest 18 '' rim i can put on the sl.....since im only going to the drag strip 1 or 2 times???

anyone have an old set of rims near nj ???

or do i just spin the hell out of the 305 20'' conti's.......lol

you can get a cheap set of vlok or tsw wheels and there is one more brand and they are like 150 or 170 each wheel but you can get them in 18x9.5 or 18x10 or if you know some one local who has an e55 ask if you can use the rear wheels off of it.

I too had the same question, and the solution i came upon is having custom wheels made. It is almost impossible to find 5x112 bolt pattern on a good drag wheel, so i found a local wheel shop that is making me 17x10's for 200 a piece, and Im putting a Hoosier 335 Drag Radial on em. Best Combo I could come up with to save traction, cuz I get tired of spinning through the 1/8th . I just couldnt find any good 17" wheels wider than 8", and 18's really narrows the choice in tires.
