Do you know how this is done? Is it a DIY job?
(Vaguely remember that the button on the card should be pressed / the card should be left inside the car for few hours / the key inserted in the ignition / position 2, etc/etc....)

It has been done by numerous amount of people and so far there hasnt been one that has succeed in the reprograming by themselfs. I would just take it to the dealer I dont believe they charge you for it but I could be wrong.

Unhappy Bad news I fear...

I asked my dealer the same question because I have the same issues... and unless you buy a new card from them ($395 plus 1 hours labor for reprogramming) you are scr*wed...

That's what my dealer tells me anyway...

Tell that dealer to shove it up there @ss and dont bother doing business with them anymore. Dealers here are willing to do it just depends on how money hungry they are. I have a few inside connections and they say its a no brainer job to do. Try another dealer if possible

keyless go

my dealer says that they cant do it,you need a new card ? but then why do they have to program it,they say I have to order a new card at $193.00 my cost plus 1/2 hour labor to program it ? if they order to my car with the vin they shouldnt need to program it,im sure you can use a used card ,they just dont want to do it , if anyone has access to WIS the procedure for reassigning a replacement card is WIS:GF80.61-P-4103R so there you have it,I guess you can reassign ,I just dont know that procedure,i found this info today on the net
