Rather than start a new thread I will just use this one.

I saw this guy on PCH on Sunday. He made a left so I could not get right behind him.

This is what we call "Badge Over Kill" I think it was a SL500 but not sure.
I was laughing so hard I had trouble pointing the camera.

SL600 V12 Biturbo and the AMG badge to just make this the best poser
I have seen in awhile.

Why, why, why? I'd be perfectly happy with either of these cars and would probably debadge if I felt the need to play it a little. Good catch, BitS. Missed you at the OC meet the other week. Long time no see.

Life is good. Have some buddies that usually go to Donut Derelicts in HB and then cruise down to C & C. I was down a couple of months ago. I'm usually playing a little basketball on Sat AM. Gotta keep the heart rate up.

Too bad about your ride. What was bashed? Hope everything is fixed to your satisfaction. Are those new rims?

this rebadging is outta control!

about the re-badging issue, i usually say to each his own but i saw this guy in a parking lot today with a CL55 AMG. you can clearly tell it wasn't an amg. so i asked him about his car since he and his friend were looking and talking about it. i found out he just bought the car less than a month ago. it was an 02. the sad thing is the guy actually thought it was an 55. he said he bought it that way. i felt bad as i showed him it wasn't as i could tell he really didn't know. we popped the hood and everything. i then told him about this forum so he can learn some things about his ride.

i cant believe people are really selling these cars this way
