Looks nice, no doubt about that.

I must admit that since LSD came with those bargin hinges, some of the exclusiv touch by having lambo doors, is gone, vapored.

You begin to see them all over the place, especially on cheap styled cars, so if it was up to me, i wouldnt downgrade my SL by fitting them. SORRY.

You're right, it does "cheapen" the look of the car.

I really like these doors..

I really like these scissor (with a slight butterfly) doors on the r230. I would consider this mod for one of mine if I were 100% confident in the operation of the closing mechanism. It would surely allow me to park in more narrow spaces when I'm in the city.

I agree, good for tight spaces. Just hope the guy who parks next to you is just as considerate.

It doesn't cheapen the look of the car. What percentage of the time are the doors open anyway?

Would rather see the money buy a good body kit and rims with some lip for that car.....but it doesnt look THAT bad. I would never do it on my SL though. The SL's lines are almost too conservative for the doors IMO.
