Changing oil on 2005 SL500
I need assistance on how to use my Mityvac 7201 Fluid Evacuator Plus
on my SL500. I found a dipstick with a red cap on it behind the air filter assembly, with no dipstick of course - cause it's electronically checked. Nonetheless is this for the engine motor oil? Or is it for the transmission? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I believe that the dipstick in your car is a non functioning unit. They (MB) eventually decided to allow us to check our own oil starting with the 07 models.
