The units are rather pricey new. I am not sure if you can get one for under 2.5k, let a lone 2k. Good luck with your search.

don't forget installation won't be cheap. Lot of stuff to come off to get the mufflers and resonators stuffed in there. Also the rear bumper will have to be hacked up or replaced.

Murtaza, I have considered straight piping my SL. Have you done this and how does it sound?

Any chance of seeing them installed and having sound clips?
The tips are a bit staggered to fit the bumper line.

Murtaza, clear your PM box. I tried to reply to your message. I heard the pipes on you tube. They sound great. I think I will do the same to my
SL500. Why spend 2k when I dont have to.

My bad then. I thought that you were talking bad about the Eisenmann systems. I will edit my post.

I would still like to see your explanations regarding this :
"Remus is not even on Eisenmann level."

Sorry, it's cleared now.

Here are the vids of my exhaust for those who are interested:

This one is less accurate as the place who did this left holes in the welds, it was a pretty sloppy job I got fixed in the video above. Still sounds generally the same though.

Top down never sounded so good

It does drone but it's not that bad. I've had a number of people in my car, none have complained about cabin noise.

Put a little music on and you can't even tell it's there...

Best money I've spent on her so far, by far

How about some sound clips from the Remus exhaust?

Okay, I had my wife pull the cover up on the car and take a few pic but don't think she know how to do a sound clip....
