Taken from the article above, "The SL63 AMG and the SL65 AMG will have a distinctive look of their own, but they will not be seen in public until the Geneva auto show in March. . . The AMG models will differ more strongly from the standard models than before. They will be different technically and will have different wheels and body parts."
If the AMG is going to differ more strongly than in the past, does this mean the '09 AMG front end will be different than the standard '09 SL? I wonder what the different body parts mean.

Probably just different bumpers (vents on side) and maybe rear lights. That 1st real pic of the SL63 had a very long and sharp nose from the looks of the bumper....looked preety sweet, just horrible when retro fited to a 2003 body style SL. MB is banking that some customers dont think (or care) that they will change it AGAIN in just a few more years. Like I said before, imagine if they took the 2000-2007 CL and slapped on a 2008 CL550 front end and then called it the new CL? Its less noticeable on a smaller car but I still think either do a minor facelift or change the whole body in the SL's case. The SL heritage is awesome and this kind of sh*t ruins it.
