Got 25 cross-country, avg 80mph.

If you havent tripped it recently, you can find your all'round avg right there in front of you, just gotta press the right buttons.
Would have to check mine, think it's around 19.

Gas MPG

SL600, 14.9 on the clock, which is mostly driving in an urban area with no long trips.

08 SL55. 13.6 mpg since new. 2300 miles. Lead foot.

If want wanted good mileage I'd have bought a different car. SL's and especially AMG's are made to be driven hard.

I can get 35mpg at an avg speed of 80mph on motorways. Very impressive as I can only get about 23mpg in the R350.

I got 20 mog in my 2003 combination hwy and city. My new 2008 only has 725 miles on it but I'm only getting 16 mpg on the last fill-up. Figure it will take time to break it in and the mpg to increase?

Don't care much about gas mileage, depreciation, or voiding my warranty which takes the pleasure out of driving my SL. Until they make a 500hp hybrid that actually looks decent, I'll continue enjoying all my cars to their limits.

21-22mpg in mixed, but mostly rural driving. Highway mileage is 24-25mpg depending on speed.
