General SL Question, need an answer!
My left Bixenon went out last year, and the dealer swapped out both head lights so that the colors would match.
I just noticed that the lights are much whiter than bluer as before.
Aren't Bixenons stock factory on all SLs, or could it be possible that the dealer installed HIDs or Halogen instead of Xenon?!
Im going to be pissed if not all the SL headlights are Bixenon.

Sorry to say Bi-Xenons are an optional item in 03 - but to swap out Bi-xenons for Halogen/HIDs you will have to remove the headlight transformer as well and its not a simple swap.

bi-xenon is an option but xenon or H.I.D.s (high intensity discharge) lamps are standard on the sl500. there is no way he installed regular bulbs in your car.
sometimes new zenon bulbs need a burn in time to turn more bluish. it also seems that the color varies by brand.
