03 sl 500 hits left tail light when closing the vario roof,I put the new updated stops on but I think it needs an adjustment,anyone know where it is /

open the boot fully and look on the metal arm there is an adjuster and rubber end on it.. this will need to be extended a little bit at a time till it no longer hits the rear light.
