What size tires?
I really like some of the pics I see out there with the 20" chrome rims.
1.) Can anyone provide me with some specs and costs for what they got?
2.) What size tires can I realisitcally get on the rear? I've seen a couple for sale with 305s on the back. Is that realistic/easy to do? i.e., I don't want to have the installer do anything special to get the rears on, and obviously wouldn't want them to rub in any fashion...

If you do a search, you'll find a wealth of information.
I have 20" Chromed Brabus rims on mine. 305 in the rear and 255s in the front. No fitting issues with the car or special adjustmets made.

you can fit 305's without issue as mentioned about. I went with 19"s due to city terrain which I on the rare occasion have to go through for meetings for work etc. The trick is tire sidewall and wheel offset. I use a 285/30-19 rear and a 245/35-19 which I think is a good setup for the car in terms of unsprung tire weight, contact patch, looks, and performance.

I'll definitely have to do some more research. I live in MA and the roads here can be brutal, I've dented two rims on my e55, and those 18s aren't nearly as bad as 20s. I should probably realistically consider 19s. I just really like the look of those super wide tires in the rear...
