Lowering Adjustable Air Links.......

I have Adjustable Air links which I will install this weekend.

As I really don't have hours to raise, remove tire, adjust, put tire on, lower, measure, raise, remove tire, adjust, etc... I was wondering if I could get some guidelines here.

I would like to lower the front by 1.5" and the rear by 1". I understand the front links have to be lengthend to lower the front and shortened to lower the rears.

My question, does anyone know how much to adjust the links by, in comparison to the original links, to obtain the required drop above? Even considering dropping the car 1.75" front and 1.25" rear as well..........

Any help from current or past adjustable SL users is appreciated.........

sorry bud i've done 2 sl's and they both need adjustment after install. maybe someone else can provide a set height for the links.

but you dont have to take the wheels off once you put the links on. the front can be adjusted by just raising the car to its highest level, pop off 1 end on the link and twist it to your desired setting.

the rears are a little more tricky but you can jack it up a lil and slide under the rear tire and make the same adjustment.

I SHORTENED MY REAR ABOUT 12MM AND ADDED 12MM TO MY FRONTS
FROM STOCK LINKS. I WILL HAVE TO ADJUST THEM, THE HIGHEST SETTING IS STILL TO LOW, RUBS A BIT WHEN I HIT DIPS WHILE DRIVING HOPE THAT HELPS. ALMOST A "DO IT TILL YOUR COMFORTABLE WITH YOUR OWN SETTING"

It will go real Low !!! this is what 3mm did , almost 1" drop . If you like your fenders on top of the tires go for it but for me that's good enough !!!

BEFORE THE DROP

AFTER THE DROP

WOW,...I had no idea the links were that sensitive........

I really want an 1.5" drop in back and a little over an inch in the front......so maybe 4mm in back and front?

You'll want to post them onto a site somewhere (Flickr or something) then link to them as Rook says.

Max, I think yours is the perfect amount of lowering. The other is too much, looks too extreme.

Cars look good guys!!! Please send me some pics so I can add them to the site.

Jealous seeing all those tops down. Here in Vancouver the weather has been too chilly to do that.
