Are radar jammers illegal in most states? I've heard mixed answers on this. I live in Chicago.

Radar jammers are illegal in ALL states and is a federal crime. maybe you were thinking laser jammers which are only illegal in 6 or 9 states.

i recommend Laser interceptors which are the best on the market, also the ones i have, and a valentine one radar detector, the best on the market imo.

K40 calibre with the defusers for the lasers is what I have. Its built in so no matter where you go as long as the car is off no one even knows you have one. It has sensors for back and front. They say on their site that if you get a laser ticket within the first year , they will pay it. I called to verify.

mike i don't want to sound like a hater, cause i'm not, but i suggest you get your K40 tested with a laser gun. thats a very expensive unit that has no real independent testing like the guys of lidar and from what i understand it doesn't work. but you should get it Independently tested. there are guys throughout the country who actually own laser guns and would be willing to test your set up. use the link i provided above.

and the offer to pay for a speeding ticket thing is used by many companies, some which are fully know to be bogus like Rocky mountain radar, which was shown on several tv news reports not to work.

i realized GOL and radar roy will no longer post reviews about the k40 due to threatened legal action.

this really burns me up because i hate companies like this that scam us off our hard earned cash and then have the nerve to threaten you when you question its capabilities. buyer beware
