I do not like the look of it. But then I have not liked the look of any of the various SLS or SLR cars MB has designed.

don't like it.. the front is aggressive but a bit too long and the back end is jacked... Gull wing doors are nice, practicality is a different issue, but this car... I am not rushing out the door to replace my R230 SL. The SLR wasn't that great either.. The SL65 Black Series I like. The best looking cars I have seen this year, the Aston Martin One77, and the Ferrari 458? Italia... Beautiful designs, great balance, flow, with aggressive but refined look. This SLS... looks too much like the old SL300, minus the classic appeal.

Looks like a Nissan from the front and an Acura from the back.

I don't care for the looks but it is probably a hoot to drive.

Yes the SLR was a bit of a joke, specially at the nearly $500k price tag. One of the most alluring specs so far on the SLS is the fact it will be half the price of the SLR with "claimed" better performance.

I will have to see it in person, the front grill still looks quite large. Gull wing doors are awesome. The interior is less than impressive based on the pictures than what I expected from MB's flagship sports car...

Yup, The SLS will be initially introduced later this month at the Frankfurt Auto show and in November a US Press intro in Monterey, CA and Laguna Seca.

I like the looks of the front, a lot of resemblance of the original 300 SL, but that back end looks almost identical to the Lexus Roadster, Ptooah!
