need to price my SL500
What do you guys think is a good price for a 2005 SL 500 with 28k miles, non-amg version with silver color and charcoal inside. no door dings. perfect condition, no leather cracks, AMG tail lights, genuine brabus monoblock wheels, 65% thread left on all PS2 tires?
I am planning to sell it, still thinking how much shall I price it for.
Could you guys provide me the price for a quick, normal and hard sale?
help is appreciated.

Good Luck Armic777,
I agree with Sunir on the market. It's tough selling a high line car in todays world. Most banks don't want to lend $40-50K to an individual. As a dealer you stand a much better chance because of their relationships with the banks. Now looking at what it's worth,if you take a look at the dealers, you're looking at anywhere from a low of $42.5K to a high of $47.9K again, these are asking prices and do not say what they actually sold for.
Take a look at Edmunds and the story is even sadder, average trade in including your low miles is $33K with an average asking price for a private party individual of $37-38K.
I was just on Autotrader the other day and there was a private party with 28k miles and he was asking $41.9K
Depending on what you paid for you car will determine if you think that's a good deal or not.
Best of luck to you

your looking at (even with 28K miles) on a '05 non sport...around mid 30's and that's on a good day...these cars no joke man can be had for mid to upper 20's if someone looks hard enough...
it's a crazy bad market man...keep your ride, strap on a Kleeman supercharger...and never look back bro!!!

wow, thanks for all of your answers.
I will go to carmax i guess, I sold my bimmer there for surprisingly good price
I was thinking about selling my brabus rims and amg tail lights separate. I think people will be interested, right guys?
I get tired of cars really quick, I tend to get a new every year, which is not very practical but especially good for MD to get 6% from me every time
p.s i purchased the coolest extended fidelity warranty
