It will work with distronic cruise control, I have one installed on my SL.

Got mine from ebay too. In the beginning it looked a bit strange to me but now i can not go back! I love how it looks!

In my case distronics works fine for maybe a hour or so for then suddely stop working. And it will not work again before I stop the car and start it again. Annoing really, but then again, I like the look of it I have put matte black vinyl over the chrome.

+1. Has anyone installed these with "distronic" cruise control and kept 100% distronic function?

I inquired about several updated grilles on Ebay last Winter, and none were guaranteed to be distronic compatible by the sellers, so I left well enough alone.

I'd do a grill upgrade tomorrow if it were distronic compatible.

I THINK IT REALLY LOOKS GOOD ON YOUR BLACK SL.

trying to decide which one to put on my beige SL
I’m looking at black grill with one silver bar.
