PUSHSTART + KEYLESS DONT WORK
2003 SL500... first off when i try to open the door from the outside with it doesnt open i actually have to press the unlock key on my remote.
then, the pushstart button wont start the car... i get a message reading something like: REMOTE NOT RECOGNIZED.
Any idea how to go about fixing this and what the problem is?

Happens once in a while to me, especially if I let the consumer batt go down. My tech clears the codes and re-initiates that module. Its a 5 min job, unless ur tech is the dealer.
